Asalaam Aliqum Parents,
This is a great chance for all of our students to be part of this amazing first food drive in our school . We work with food bank to collect food items. The purpose is to teach our students the importance of good relationship with our community and to learn to help the ones who are in need .
Narrated ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr:
A man asked the Prophet (ﷺ) , “What sort of deeds or (what qualities of) Islam are good?” The Prophet (ﷺ) replied, ‘To feed (the poor) and greet those whom you know and those whom you do not know. (To feed (others) is a part of Islam – Hadith No. 27 – Al Bukhari)
