Assalaamualaykum Dear Al Mustafa Families,

I pray that this finds you in the best of health and Islamic spirits, Ameen. By the grace and mercy of Almighty Allah we
find ourselves at the end of another school year. We pray that this year has been successful and meaningful for our
students.
What a year it has been! Overshadowing things is the ongoing genocide in Palestine even as we are witness to the
suffering of our brothers and sisters in Sudan, Burma, China, and other places around the world. As we speak war
looms over Lebanon. We pray that Almighty Allah brings peace and ease the suffering of these people, Ameen.
It has been an amazing year at Al Mustafa Academy! We saw the successful implementation of the Cogito program in
our south campus and received outstanding preliminary feedback from our students in the provincial level exams
(PAT’s/Diplomas) that were done in the spring. We also had the unique honor of hosting the Minister of Education,
the Hon. Minister Demetrios Nicolaides, who visited our school in June. The Minister had the opportunity to present
awards to Al Mustafa students including to our top graduates in Gr. 12.
The Al Mustafa Board was proud to announce new scholarships this year for our top achievers in the Gr. 6 and 9 PAT’s,
outstanding students from Gr. 10-12, as well as memorizers of the Quran (Huffaz). The board was proud to also
announce that Al Mustafa Academy has applied to be an IB (International Baccalaureate) school for the 2024/2025
academic year. We will be implementing the PYP (Primary Years Program) IB program for K- Gr.5 in our south campus,
and will also be introducing the Cogito program for K-Gr. 3 at our north campus this year, in sha Allah.
Please note that following important reminders:
1. First day of classes for students will be Tuesday, September 3.
2. Al Mustafa School is offering before and after school Quran programs next year, Monday to Friday. You can
drop off your children at 7:00 a.m. for extra Quran practice and Hifz. This service is also available after school from
3:30 to 7:00. We have qualified and experienced Quran instructors teaching in this program.
3. Families are reminded to pay school tuition fees by the 5th day of each month.
4. Summer school (July 8- Aug. 16) is available at both our campuses. Please register your children as soon as
possible.
5. No cell phones for students are allowed in the school next year.
6. School uniforms will be strictly enforced next year and your children will not be allowed in school without
proper, complete and clean uniforms. Indoor shoes will also be mandatory and this will be strictly enforced for the
general cleanliness of the school. Studies)

company, Karim Transportation, will be looking to streamline their operations in the coming year for more efficient
service. Karim Transportation will be contacting you in the late summer with updates.
We wish our dear students, families and our staff a wonderful, restful, fun and safe holiday. Please keep us in your
duas as we prepare for another exciting and fulfilling school year. Please forgive our shortcomings and we thank you
for your cooperation and support. May Almighty Allah accept from us our efforts in His way, Ameen.
