Welcome to the South Campus of Al-Mustafa Academy, located in the heart of Bonnie Doon, Edmonton – a vibrant, diverse, and growing hub of learning, faith, and academic excellence. This dynamic campus proudly offers a full continuum of international and provincial education, nurturing students from early childhood through high school graduation. Al Mustafa Academy is an IB Continuum Candidate* School offering PYP, MYP and DP.

*Al-Mustafa Academy is a Candidate School* for the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) & Diploma Programme (DP). This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that Al Mustafa Academy believes is important for our students.
*Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme, or the Career-related Programme (CP). Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted.

Our Bonnie Doon campus provides a unique and enriching educational journey through the following programs:

  • IB Primary Years Programme (PYP – IB Candidate* School ) – for Kindergarten to Grade 5
  • IB Middle Years Programme (MYP – IB Candidate* School) – for Grades 6 to 10
  • IB Diploma Programme (DP – IB Candidate* School) – for Grades 11 and 12
  • Alberta High School Diploma – fully accredited by Alberta Education Grades 10 to 12

Shining Star Daycare & Early Learning Centre – for children aged 3 to 5
